Yes, the rumors are true!
After countless hours consulting the NY Forward safety plans, Tompkins County Health Department, and as much current scientific research as we could find, the Free Science Workshop is open for business!
In light of recent developments related to the Coronavirus, COVID-19, and New York’s PAUSE order, The Free Science Workshop teamed up with local organizations to offer take home science kits, as well as offering digital content.
Free Science Workshop participants and volunteers of all ages designed a wild chain-reaction machine that spans the workshop. It features trained mice, exploding volcanoes, and of course, power tools. We hope that it inspires you to create your own. Special thanks to the GIAC STEAM Team!
